Amber, small fizzy head. Bready and grainy aroma with a good dose of fruity hops - pineapple for example. Taste similar - body of grains and cereals. Some metallic tinge in the aroma, but that could be as we were chugging from a can.
begbie100 (96), Oulu, Finland Jul 5, 2008 330ml can. white foamy thick head, yellow color. pretty awful aroma: smells metallic and earthy. carb is very low, watery palate. Flavour is pretty smooth, but dull and watery. Maybe I should test this in bottle, but I’m not sure if I want to. tlind2 (143), Helsinki, Finland Jun 29, 2008 330 ml can. Golden color, low head. Sharp, hoppy aroma. Pretty light body with a watery mouthfeel, low on malts but with some pleasant bitterness. Nothing spectacular. Kavu (63), Jyväskylä, Finland Jun 18, 2008 0,5l can. Pours light amber with almost no foam. Some caramel in the aroma and flavor. A bit of hops in the finish. Quite ok. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Rovaniemi over summer, Finland Apr 13, 2008 50cl can, bbe 07/2008. Blazing, clear red-orange hue. Starts with an egg-shell coloured frothy head with a smattering of large bubbles, but that quickly fades. Malty and nutty from the start with a touch of smokiness. Dried floral hops and a little bit of salty minerality. Light lemon zest. Bready, moderately sweet flavour balanced by minerality and light floral hops. Really light on the malt in the flavour, sadly. Medium-light body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
