Commercial Description:

Draught. [Beer festival 2009] Average brown looking head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Reddish mahogany color. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel, bread, wood, mild spice, brown sugar and fruity notes as well. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Mild bitter finish.

Draught at Københavns Øldage 2009, Valby. Pours a clear dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel and bready aroma. Sweetish malty caramle flavor with hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty fruity caramel finish with hints of dark fruit and some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Draught@Københavnske Øldage 2009. A mahogny colored beer with good clarity with a thin beige head on top. Light nutty malts and dark dried fruits on the nose. A note of unripe berries. Taste is quite complex. Bitter-sweet, and slight sour malty with a roasted note and touch of chocolate. Dark fruits and mild hoppy bitternes beneath. Medium body. Soft in the mouth. A very likeable one.

On tap at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with a small, creamy, beige head. Roasted nose with dried fruits and a little sourish touch. Dried fruits, at least raisins, caramel, a little roasted notes, sweetness and a decent hop level giving a pleasant bitterness. Full-bodied with a nice level of co2. Overall, it’s a bit on the sweet side, but it’s a nice beer. Maybe needing some food. (090516)

Ont tap at Københavnske Øldage. Sweet and bready, nice flavour and character, but should have had some more hops to balance it.
