Draught at the brewpub. Hazy orange red coloured with a medium sized off white head. Fruity aroma of hops, pine needles, cardemomme and grape fruits with notes of caramel. Fruity flavour of hops, pine needles, cardemomme and grape fruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Entered to celebrate my rating number 15,000. I’ve chosen this new Double IPA brewed by my good friend Shaun Hill. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is powerful with notes of hops, citrus, grapefruit, malt, caramel, and fresh hop vines. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy - lending it notes of grass, grapfruit, orange peal, and fresh hop vines, on a malty caramel back ground, leading to a very bitter finish, where the sweetness and alcohol lingers too. Lovely - but dangerous.

Tap @ the brewpub.
Pours hazy orange, softly pale. Small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is impressively hoppy, almost dripping of hop oils. Piney, grapefruit, lots of citrus. Soft caramel sweet base. Medium carbonation, impressive fat and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is super hoppy, citrus, grassy, piney, peach. Super sugary malty background. Lovely dry so the alcohol doesn’t stick out negatively. Almost gives my heartburn, but the bitterness stop just before. Phenomenal dryness in the finish. I suspect my burbs to taste like this the next month or so. Citrus-lime notes in the far finish. The hops almost feel kinda roasted in the top of my mouth. (I’m giving it a 4 in looks simple because it looks so much less intimidating than it actually is - a wolf in sheep clothing)

Tap at bryghuset. Magnificent beer! Discreet look with a hazy orange color and a little but lasting head. Amazing hoppy aroma followed by a hopexplosion as it quickly dissapears down the throat. Extremely crisp and dry and no sign of the booze anywhere. This is one of the best DIPA I’ve ever had and it’s so nice that it didn’t have to pass an ocean to get to me!

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a huge, creamy and white head leaving a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is light spiced, crisp hoppy and tangerine. Sweet initial impression although given the plato that shouldbe somatic. Crisp tangering fruity hops flavoured. Smooth and yet with a solid bitterness. Dry andfruity finish. Ridiculous wellbalanced and smooth given the hops and the alcohol. Bone dry yetnot with the imediate impression of this. Stunning!
