Black colour with a tan head. Roasted, light fruity aroma with notes of bread and chocolate. Roasted, earthy flavor with a fruity sweetness.

Bottle at Tom’s Tasting, April 2009. Dark brown colour. Big roast burnt malt aroma. More on the palate. Also some chocolate. Plus some hop bitterness. Medium bodied. Good stuff.

500. Thanks, Maria! Pours jet black with occasional ruby sparkles in the corners. Gorgeous, delectable-looking, surging bubbly tan head that settles before long to a thick, creamy mousse. Looks so like chocolate. Nice sweet roasty milk chocolate nose, with a bit of stale CO2/compressed gas smell. Decidedly creamy body on the attack that settles to a pleasantly light and drinkable level across the mid-palate. Nice roasty chocolatey mid-palate flavors. Mildly roasty baking chocolate finish that sticks around a fair bit. This is a nice drinkable porter; taking the same flavors and making them bolder would boost it a bit, and killing that compressed air smell would help a lot as well.

A Mes rate: bottle at The Cadster’s Spotify tasting.
Black with a good light brown head. Big earthy malt with a distinct roasty character. Loads of bitter dark chocolate and a spicy wood finish. A little straight down the line but still very enjoyable.

Black of color with a brown head. An aroma of rasted malt, malt, spice and dark chocolate. A flavor of metal, roasted malt, spice and weak chocolate.

Bottle thanks to chriso at the cad’s first london tasting. Alround rating: Roasty malts, dark chocolate, bitterness is from the hops, theres siome spice and pickled fruit which make it quite interesting.

60cl bottle @ Liva, Kolding. Pours black with a small creamy lasting head and lacings. Nose and taste is roasted coffee, hard roasted bitter coffee, cocoa powder and vague hint of vanilla and oak. Very smooth and overall well balanced and tasty!
