Commercial Description:
This sweet stout has been added cold water extract from a Mexican ecological single estate coffee. The result is a discrete coffee aroma that mixes with the slightly burnt licorice aromas from the dark malts combined with spices. The flavor is slightly sweet with an average palate and moderate bitterness and aftertaste.

500ml bottle. Almost black body with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee and some alcohol. Flavor is like aroma, nice roasted malt, and sweet chocolate and good bitterness. A really nice, balanced stout with a distinct coffee flavor.

deep black pour, not much in the head department, nose is old coffee grinds, and some smoke, maybe a little sweet malts. thin pour and mouth feel is a tad thin for my liking. flavors r similar to nose, with a little alcohol that doesn’t really go well. wanted to like this one, maybe my expectations were too high

Bottle. Good roasted coffee and oatmeal aroma. Black body with tan head. Rich coffee blend flavor with a moderate sweetness in the background. Aftertaste was odd as a tin coffee container lingered on the palate.

Bottle. Nearly black colour with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with hints of dark chocolate. The flavour is roasted malt, coffee and chocolate. Bittersweet finish and warming alcohol feeling when the beer is going down the throat. Very good Stout.

600 ml. Opaque with a three-finger head that quickly sizzles away, barely leaving a small ring and spots of soapy lace. Aromas of coffee, oats, cocoa, butterscotch and dark bread. Tastes of flavored coffee, caramel, chocolate, oat, bread dough, and tart fruit of some sort. Maybe a cherry-apple mix. Medium-heavy body is dryish and tingly with acidity. Seems mostly watery but also syrupy at times.

Dark, dark brown pour with a squatty brown head. The coffee and licorice aroma is nice, and there’s a little vanilla and molasses. Lots of black coffee with some caramel malt and cream coming through as the beer warmed. The chocolate is more like a chicory taste. Some soy taste, but some oatmeal/grain flavors.

Black with a thick brown head. Sweet chocolate aroma and flavor. Thin to medium body with a thin rather watery finish.
