Commercial Description:
This sweet stout has been added cold water extract from a Mexican ecological single estate coffee. The result is a discrete coffee aroma that mixes with the slightly burnt licorice aromas from the dark malts combined with spices. The flavor is slightly sweet with an average palate and moderate bitterness and aftertaste.

Bottled. Black with brown lacing head. Burned malty aroma with sweet espresso and coffee beans. Malty, burned flavor with coffee and slightly port like alcoholic and sweet finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth and sticky palate. Nice coffee aroma, but overall too sweet.

600ml bottle (alko)
Jet black, very brief fizzy head. Mild coffee aroma, general sweet stouty burntness too. Taste is nicely balanced combination of very burnt malts, and pleasantly zingy hops. Palate is very sticky, but that helps hide the alcohol, which is barely noticable. However, there’s something a little thin about the body, just sugars aren’t enough to fill it out. Very drinkable as a sipper, but with a good gluggable quality too.
Rerated a bottle which had just passed its BB date, and alas it wasn’t very good: 5-4-6-2-11=2.8
Runner beans and sherbet aroma. Green beans and stale cold yesterday’s coffee. Sludgy.

On tap at Nørrebro. Pours black with thin off-white head. Smell is roasty coffee. Taste is the same, very roasty and bitter. A bit thin and spritzy on the palate and finishes with more bitter coffee.
