Commercial Description:
This sweet stout has been added cold water extract from a Mexican ecological single estate coffee. The result is a discrete coffee aroma that mixes with the slightly burnt licorice aromas from the dark malts combined with spices. The flavor is slightly sweet with an average palate and moderate bitterness and aftertaste.

0.6 l bottle. Black color with creamy tan head. Strong coffeish aroma with notes of roast barley, leather and chocolate. Strong yet fairly soft coffee flavor with also toffee, caramel and dark fruits. Long, dryer and warming coffee finish.

Pours an oily opaque with a spotty-lacing light tan. Aroma of fresh roasty coffee and dark chocolate notes. Body starts lightly sweet with some earthy roasted espresso notes before a drier bittersweet finish. Pretty well-balanced and enjoyable, A good coffee stout.

Poured into a glass snifter. Dark brown, hint of red. Smells of dark roast coffee. Coffee not as pronounced as I thought it would be. Really delicious aftertaste. Spice mixed with the coffee taste is very well balanced. A most enjoyable brew.

Bottle poured a clear dark brown with a small quickly dissapating brown head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, cocoa and a hint of dark fruit. Palate was medium bodied smooth and slightly dry. Flavors of mocha, roasted malt, cocoa and a hint of vanilla with a smooth dry bitter finish.

Bottle shared with Blankboy, Hogtown Harry, and Garthicus, Harry’s bottle. Black with a lot of red hues, not much of a head. Very sweet aroma with a lot of roast - nice. Great taste, lots of roast, very sweet. Espresso present and accounted for. Nice beer, quite enjoyed it.

Thanks Harry! Deep black, small tan head. Light aroma of coffee and malt, tasty espresso flavour, with definite chocolate there too, what an interesting brew! I could imagine myself sipping this on a Saturday morning, looking out the window, enjoying the world going by

Bottle (650ml?). Shared with blankboy, garthicus and tupalev - my bottle. Dark ruby-black, opaque, small head. Oily, deep roast aroma, strong acidic coffee, mild alcohol and a hint of sour cherry. Taste - more cherry, less acidity but plenty of coffee bitterness. Light, slick, acidic mouthfeel, long sweetened cold-coffee finish ... really tasty!
