Aroma of sweet roasted malt and a slight booziness. Flavor is quite sweet with some earthy, perhaps vegetal notes, and vanilla. Too sweet and palate is wearing. Ugh.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2009 Roasted sweet coffee aroma, sweet coffee roasty chocolate taste. Not much imagination going on with this one, too sweet and the mouthfeel is boring and soft, so round you can’t get a grip on the thing. Seems to be the probllem with most of the norrebro beers I have tried. Overpriced and the big bottle is no fun unless you are sharing. mikkopen (270), Oulu, Finland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 8, 2009 600 ml bottle. Deep dark reddish brown colour, thin and quickly disappearing brown head. Roasted, sweet aroma with dark chocolate and plenty of coffee. The flavour, dominated by coffee, has some chocolate sweetness, roasted malts, spices and a mildly bitter finish. Nicely smooth on the palate. Very pleasant. Beaver (599), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2009 600 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown with a thin fizzy head that quickly disappears completely.
The aroma is sweet chocolate, roasted malts, some acidic coffee and some vegetables.
The flavor is sweet chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and maybe a touch of cinnamon with decent bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with no carbonation.
Overall, I’ve had three bottles of this. I remember really liking the first, but the next two were not as good. This one has some off notes in the nose, and very low fizzy carbonation. I like the chocolate and coffee flavors though. Very Smooth finish. Taste was more distinguished after it had warmed up. A good Stout worthy of having again and again. radiomgb (2068), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Dark brown in colour with a very thin and quick to dissipate than head, no lacing. The aroma is of light espresso, burnt malts, light smoke with a moderate sweetness. The flavour was initially of espresso, some light alcohol, toffee sweetness with a bit of chocolate. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes longer as it warms, espresso coffee and a little burnt.
This was a little thin at first but as it warmed up more and more flavours started to come out. Nice.
