Thanks to Charles for the bomber! I should’ve read the ratings below before opening this in the living room.. an endless rolling foam poured out of the bottle and all over stuff.. eventually poured deep brown with a creamy cap of beige head. The aroma picked up dry, darker chocolates paired with a touch of coffee and a metallic impression.. came together decently, but it seemed a bit off. The flavor had semi-sweet and darker chocolates at the core with dry coffee bitterness on the edges.. the metallic stuff was still there, but I kinda dug how it spiced up the beer (and it was slightly refreshing on the finish).. nice moderate level of roast. Light-medium bodied and need I say it, well-carbonated on the palate.. sour and a bit spicy over the malts.. this was likely infected, but in an interesting and enjoyable way.

22oz bottle from brewpub. Aroma of walking into a back cooler full of metal kegs. Also some coffee notes as well. Black body with tan head. Oh yea it was a gusher so don’t leave it on the counter and walk away after opening like I did. Decent cooffe roast flavor with some carbination to it. Dry coffee on the palate, good brew. Glad I visited on my way out of Texas.

Pour is dark dark brown with blackish hints with a tight bubbled and thin but lasting brown head...I didn’t get a ton of coffee out of the nose, just an delicious toastyness...maybe some faint hints of cocoa...watery and thin disappointing mouthfeel...flavor was a little too subtle than I think it should be...very light tosaty flavor with hints of bitter coffee in the finish...good though...

Bottle: Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Aroma, dry roasty notes, coffee, and chocolate. Flavor, chocolate, coffee, roasted notes, some fruits.

Pours black with a lasting tan head and seems to be on nitro. Smell is dusty roasted chocolate like malt with mild hints of metal. Creamy soft roasty chocolat flavor. Slightly thin bodied but with a decent flavor. Similar to a Guinness, but with more flavor. Decent beer, and drinkable.

22 oz. bottle (4.5% ABV) courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a dark brown color with a one finger thick light tan head. Very light lacing if you swirl the beer in the glass. Has a dusty roasted malt aroma. Flavor is roasted and caramel malt, light esters, and a touch of chocolate. Leaves a slight lingering dryness to the palate. A decent beer. Thanks Bill.

Black and dark with a big tan foamy head that looks inviting. Smell is roastiness, malts, yeast, and creamed corn. Smooth feel but slightly sour. Taste is roasty, some malts, and is off like a sub par homebrew.

Nearly black with a rocky tan head. Mild aroma is roasted malta and some sour dough bread yeast. Medium body. A mild, dry flavor is toasted wheat bread with butter. Not much else to say.
