Gift from some strange man in Greenwich walking a giant chicken. The label says "Double IPA", but the reality is that this is fairly restrained even for an IPA, so that may be a misprint. It’s a drinkable and pleasant beer. Hops are noticable and attractive, and the malt tags along behind, trying hard to keep up. For my second helping I think some yeast got dragged into the glass as it was a bit blurred. This is my first North by Northwest beer (thought I’d had one before - but maybe I didn’t record it!), and I’m not impressed.

Bottle from North Texas Crew Tasting. Pours a murky gold with off-white fizzy head. Aroma is very similar to an olive. Flavor of nice malt and piney hops. Mouth feel is medium body, kinda watery, with medium high carbonation. Overall, not bad at all!

Bottle thanks to angrypirate06. Looks like a very cheaply computer printed label. Pours with a small white head over a golden body. Aroma of fruit, green olive, and hops. Taste is sweet, fruity and hoppy. Light bubbles.
