Flavor is banana infused pilsner contained in a watery base. Watery mouthfeel. Too thin in body and in taste. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

However, it wasn’t bad. Poured a nice cloudy yellow. Aroma of banana, breads and fruit. Flavor was the same, but just didn’t blow me away or do anything to distinguish itself. Still not a bad showing, just nothing to get too excited over. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Smell is mostly clove and then banana. Taste is decent, but spiced clove is the dominating flavor. I’m not big on hefeweizens, and this sampler was ok, but didn’t really make me want a pint. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Great hefe nose with loads of banana, trident bubblegum, clove, and hints of lemony wheat. Flavor was more of the same with up front banana, clove and wheat. Nothing more to add here. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, wheaty, soft nutty, spiced finish. Great example of the style. Gives the Live Oak Hefe a run for it’s money... travita (1952), Frisco, Texas, USA
