Great hefe nose with loads of banana, trident bubblegum, clove, and hints of lemony wheat. Flavor was more of the same with up front banana, clove and wheat. Nothing more to add here. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, wheaty, soft nutty, spiced finish. Great example of the style. Gives the Live Oak Hefe a run for it’s money... Cavie (1490), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Ty said that this beer will no longer be a seasonal as it will replace the bock on the regular menu. Not a bad idea since the Central Texas summer lasts 8 months!! Straw color and a nice cloudy yeastiness with a small head. The aroma is a nice clean citrus smell. The flavor is citrusy as well, some wheat, a light bitterness and a slight sweetness. The yeast doesn’t have the banana and clove of some hefes but it is very drinkable and tasty on a 96 degree day in Austin. Good beer! SudsMcDuff (1703), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

No real head on this one, no real lacing either, Nice after taste though... bleeng (600), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA

Head dissappears a little to rapidly for me. Nose was malty, clovey, banana, typical for this style. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. Flavors of wheat, banana, yeast-well put together. Not a good as Live Oak but this one is hard to turn down. Good job. kidmartinek (1000), austin, Texas, USA

Pours bright only slightly cloudy yellow. Decent head and lacing. Very complex flavor of hops,, wheat, strong bubblegum and banana. Light finish and texture. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA

Aroma thick with grains, yeast, malt, even bananas, intriguing. Hits the mouth with a a thin body, wheat and fruit notes more pronounced than in the smell, finish was solid. I really liked this one until my wife snatched it from me and proclaimed it to be hers!
