| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 1, 2004 Had on tap at the brewpub in Austin. Pours a light copper color with a thin but persistent white head. Aroma has some sweet toffee notes, quite pleasant. Flavor has an underlying chocolate bent to it that sits rather well. Also detect a little bit of caramel. Very flavorful for a brewpub Vienna. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Very decent. KAggie97 (2459), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

A faint hint of hops at the begining, but, like Vanilla Ice’s career, it faded too quickly. This place has been in business for 5 years? They must have kick butt food. Aroma of caramel, bread and fruit. Flavor was pretty mellow with mostly caramel and fruit. Not the best I had that night by quite a bit. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Lightly smelling of light floral hops and honey sweetness. Pours a mid amber color, and taste is light, and more towards a sweet honeyish fruity flavor than hoppy. Simple and and nice and I actually liked this one quite a bit. Probably my 2nd favorite next to their pale ale.
