Tried at fordest’s tasting with ibrew2or3, fordest, padrefan98, toncatcher, and others. padrefan98 brought this great beer. Thanks Jon! I used to live close to the brewery, and went there a few times, before I started rating. I liked the place and the food. It’s really nice to rate a beer from there. Light amber color. Some grapefruit hops. Medium hop level (high for all beers, except most IPAs). Nice easy to drink IPA.

(22oz bottle, thanks kmweaver) Small beige head atop cloudy amber body with some yeast the settles to the bottom of the glass. Aroma is moderately sweet, dry-hopped, pine, some grapefruit, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, orange, light dusky. Dry-hopping appears evident. Light-medium body.

22oz bottle, courtesy of lb4lb. Thanks, Deniz! Pours a hazy, yellow-orange color; off-white head with solid retention. Pleasant, piney and grassy hops in the aroma; oily and fresh. Medium mouthfeel: zesty grass and pine and citrus upfront; slightly watery palate, but pleasant hop character and relaxed bitterness. Lengthy finish, showing bitter herbal hops and basic malts; a bit drying.

Bottle from lb4lb. Light hazy orange color with big white head. Fruity aroma with apricot notes throughout. The taste was the same but weaker. Also, the carbonation was alittle too fizzy. Not a bad beer at all.

Fresh, hoppy earthy aroma. Nice big smell. Great head and lacing atop a cloudy orange amber color. Slightly weak bodied and somewhat watery. Flavor is a bit weak - but has some hops that poke through. Smooth but very light in weight. Would have again - really not horrible.

Honey colored pour, unfiltered, with some small floaties. Smell is very nice and big with fruity honey soaked hops, reminiscent of grapefruit and peaches especiailly as it warms. Taste is nicely hopped, but not overy full flavored. Very low hop bitterness in fact. Could use a touch more bitterness to make it pop, and while the flavor is nice, the body is a bit too thin like a fair number of NXNW’s beers, and could benefit from a fuller mouthfeel. Even as is, it is a nice beer although a touch more like a APA in flavor. Overall, a nice beer, but don’t expect the true Cali style hopped to hell mouth numbing bitterness or you might be dissapointed.

Amber colored beer with a huge white fizzy head. Lots of fresh fruit like hops in the aroma. The flavour is great with some sweetness to it, like a caramel almost, but there are some good hops backing it all up. Not too bitter but well balanced. Caught a bit of a metallic flavour in there as well.
