Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine resin, citrus, tropical fruits, and sticky caramel malts. Taste of caramel, toasty dough, light toffee, citrus fruits, grassy hops, and a grapefruit bitterness.

thanks to walt for bringing the bottle. pine and spice in the nose of a light yellow colored pour. the head was light and cleanly white. flavor starts of very grassy and hoppy, but smooths out and there isnt a puckering bitterness in the tail. a very nice and drinkable ipa with a very solid flavor beyond just hops.

22 oz bomber purchased at NXNW - Hazed orange, creamy white head. Soft aromas of citrus, spruce, juniper, melon, florals, and light toasty sweet caramel malt. Similar in flavor with lots of floral, piney notes throughout, touches of green melon, with a soft sweet underlying caramel tone. Full bodied, soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. Impressive for sure, and probably one of the best beers I had from NXNW. Real nice...

(22oz. bottle, courtesy of Walt) Pours a clear copper body with an average off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, and bread. Nice balance of hops and malt with a bitter finish.

Bottle: Beer pours lightly hazy, pretty orange color with a somewhat retained off white head. Aroma really gets me going. Big pine hop note with lots of citrus as well, primarily grapefruit. Really juicy aroma. Flavor is initially really juicy, quite orangish in fact. Secondary flavor is more hops and the finish is drying. This works quite well for me. I love IPAs and this is very good. Big thanks to Walt for bringing this up from Austin!!

Pours a fully hazy, orangish gold color. It has an incredibly amount of carbonation (enough that it lost a few ounces of beer in transit to me) and pours with a frothy, three-finger thick pale tan head. Hundreds of streaming rivulets of carbonation bubbles stream up through my beer. The aroma has notes of sharp herbal notes, and lots of citrus notes (composed of orange peel, and grapefruit).

The beer absolutely explodes on my tongue, the carbonation quickly turns it into a frothy bubbled mass of beer. Ok I got rid of a bunch of the carbonation. The beer is very dry, but still has quite a bit of citrus like notes (predominantly grapefruit and orange again). The beer seems to be in the first stages of being infected, perhaps by a Brett strain. The beer finishes with a solid bitterness, that actually starts and is quite noticeable starting in the middle of this beer. This is a pretty tasty beer, I have been thinking about Brettanomyces lately, so even the totally inappropriate funky notes are not too objectionable.

22oz. bottle. Murky yellow-orange with a never-ending rocky white head. Apricot, peach, and lemongrass hop aroma. Crystal malt underneath candied pineapple and oily vegetal hop flavors. Mango and apricot hop flavors in the finish, with some grassy astringency. Mouthfeel is medium heavy, uneven thickness causing an almost gritty sensation.

Bottle. Poured deep orange in color with a huge overcarbonated head that just kept flowing and flowing. Fruity citrusy aroma. Orangey and apricot aroma. Citrusy hoppy flavor. Finish is nice and hoppy. Well balanced. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
