miketd (330), Cleveland, Ohio, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of lb4lb. Thanks dude! Pour is a coppery/auburn color with a big white head. Aroma is flowery hops all the way...nice. Soft hop flavor. Bitter, but not overpowering. Nice malt balance. Full bodied and a great drinker.
fiver29 (248), Strongsville, Ohio, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Miketd. Pours a hazy orange color with a off white head. Head lasted a little while. Had a nice hop aroma with some sweetness. Taste was hoppy smooth, grapefruit, and was refreshing. Was nice palate cleanser after drining a imperial stout before eating a big fat steak. Overall I enjoyed this brew and would have it on hand if locally available. jason (1471), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 21, 2008 Bottle. Thanks to Fly for sending me this one. Poured a nice hazy, cloudy orange body with an intresting size head. The head started to form geometrical shapes similar to Chouffee Houblon, funny because this one was refriged for over a month. Aroma is light hops, citrus, caramel and an odd similarity to Brett. Flavor is bitter, light lemon citrus and aggressive hops. Not bad. crizay (1069), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA Mar 5, 2008 Thanks lb4b. Hazy yellow/orange with medium white head. Aroma is very muted and not much going on. Flavor is some grapefruit, bready malts, and just a pale maltiness. Medium bodied and lively carbonation but it’s almost like they filtered it to hell and back, just nothing going on. Smooth and doesn’t taste but it’s just not exciting. JorisPPattyn (4246), Antwerpen, Belgium Mar 5, 2008 Slight gushing to stupendously huge, yellowish, composite and tenacously clinging head over hazy orange-brownish beer. Very fresh-hoppy nose, very powerful C-hops, and strangely, some dry washing powder aroma. Bitter, fresh hoppy flavours, real lupuline in liquid form. Maybe lacking in backing, certainly in the palated, so it is a bit thinnish, despite a creamy (carbonation?) texture. Good, refreshing, if a little thinnish IPA. Shines probably brighter on draught. Rare one to have, thanks to the Dewberries!
