Leathery nose with a pleasant dose of pomegranite skin fruitiness, but has kind of a musty, moldy sour character. Where I’m looking for a nice, tart fruitiness, I find fruit and odd-placed funk, kind of like jam on some moldy bread. Sweet and sticky mouthfeel with a subtle tickling carbonation - really not dry enough for a lambic, and more along the lines of a Flemish sour. Flavors of pomegranite seeds and acetic vinegar. More of that moldy bread flavor comes through on the back end. The fruit characters and nice, and I have to applaud the concept and risk level taken to brew this beer, but the acetic acid and foul funk prevent this from being good. Hopefully this beer will gather enough attention to be brewed repeatedly and get dialed in to that level. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Definitely a bad choice Marc. Taste is this really weird, corny flavor of pomegranate- like Fruit Loops actually. Just way too much cereal in this. I could not get past it. Decent aroma, nice pomegranate flavor initially, but damn, this turned awful. bu11zeye (5564), Frisco, Texas, USA

Very interesting color--shades of pink and orange combined. Small white head on top. The aroma is mostly sour apples with some pomegranate and good dose of yeast. The taste follows with some hints of oak and more sweetness than expected. Very enjoyable.
