Pale copper in color with a little cloudiness. Huge cascade aroma and flavor. Very fruity and citrussy. Moderate to high bitterness. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA

Nice honey body with a lasting 1/2 inch head. Nose-good fresh clean hops. A great classic APA clean hoppy nose. Taste-my first impression is that this is a bit thin, but good. What it has, it does well with, if you know what I mean. The hops are in the background and upfront at the same time while the malt is balanced just right with the hops. The only NXNW beer that I ordered twice.. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Poured hazy golden orange with a thin white head...smell is piney with a small dose of grapefruit...nice malt hop balance...where’s the corn? Definately enjoyable...not amazing or outstanding, but good... DewBrewer (270), Austin, Texas, USA

Thanks Ty for increasing the hops in this from its former self. It is delicious on draught & the cask was awesome. The hop flavor & aroma are wonderful: citrus, earthy too. Mild sweetness along with the bitterness. A well-rounded pale ale/IPA that you don’t want to miss, even on draught. HumuloneRed (750), Portland, Oregon, USA

Big citrus fruity flavor. Nice round and balanced flavor. Very drinkable. This is Ty’s IPA. He got rid of the old PyJino Pale and made this his own. Great job Ty! ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2005 Slightly hazy orange appearance. Leafy, musty hops: annibus like and with a sweet sugar and IPA-like gritty bitter texture. Mandarin orange flavors with a light bread note, caramel or crystal malts... juicy, sharp citrus finish. Impressive. I’ve heard that the recipe changed recently and that the new version actually contains hops :)
