Had on draft at the bar. Served in a Belgian glass. Beautiful orange/light amber color. Appropriately fizzy carbonation. Slight citrus notes up front fading to peppery/yeasty notes. A great beer for a Texas brewpub!

Cloudy body with a columbous white head. Nose is beagumont and yeast. Flavours keeps up the orange flavours with a sweetness. Slight funkiness complemented a spicey set reminicinent of green cardomon, beagumont, and cloves.

Pour is opaque golden orange with nice delicate bubbles racing to the top...smallish bright white head...smell is fairly intricate...first off a nice light yeasty aroma, then as it warms some sweet horseblanket notes...some pepper and bready notes along with some citrusy orange hints...mouthfeel is very light with faint carbonation toward the finish, but not a lot up front...nice sweet bready yeasty notes in the first part of the flavor...some nice straw and hints of sweet dough in the middle of the sip...pepper and dry yeasty flavors in the finish...the finish is the tiniest bit sticky...not cloying at all, just begs another sip to relieve the stickiness...if that makes sense...impressive brew.

A beer of distinction orm this Brewpub. So beautiful. Goldenrod. Hazy gold beer, billowy white head. Nose is intriguing. Quite complex for a beer of this style from a texas brewpub. Sugary sweetness at first. Seemingly too sweet. This fades into a dryness like chardonnay. Oaky smoothness and the typical dried orange peel and grain of paradise, grey spiciness. Fruitiness then abounds. Soft kiwi, strawberry even. Flavors begin too striaghtforward. Then, in ninja like fashion become subtle and complex in a heroic way. Dry white grapes, fig juice, citrus and chalky grain of paradise spice. Good beer. Spritzy and thick as beer gravy.MMMMMmmmmmm

Draft - Hazy gold, creamy white head. Spicy nose with touches of honey, bread, and a light orangey fruity overtone. Flavor was more fruity up front with notes of breadiness, corriander, and faint hints of pepper. Balanced nicely. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, spicy, frutiy finish. One of thier better offeirngs...

GABF 2006 post-party. Pours to a really hazy straw colored body with a thin white head. The aroma is straw, light lemons, sweet and sour lemons. Nice fresh palate.

Pleasing hazy, yellow peachy color. Very sweet up front with a complementary bitterness at the end. Distinctive orange note throughout, with a little clove in the nice aroma. A little thin--tough to say how different this was from the straight tap. Growler purchased last night, thanks to Walt, who supplied so many good beers today.
