beerchugger (285), Colorado, USA Sep 28, 2009 Thanks to Logan for this one! Cloudy pale yellow haze and a thin white head. There is definitely some citrus coming through in the nose. There is also a bit of an interesting wild yeast, a bit of a farm-y aroma. Has a very light body, but the flavor tastes fresh with lemony citrus, a touch of grass, and definitely some spice as well. alexsdad06 (1056), Ohio, USA May 31, 2009 22 oz. bottle courtesy of lb4lb. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. The aroma is yeast, citrus, spices, and honey soaked grass. The flavor was yeast, biscuity malt, orange and lemon citrus, light spices presented in a manner that was easy to drink. Medium bodied decent saison. Zinister (1198), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 14, 2009 Thanks to bleeng for this beer. Golden yellow pour with no head. Nose of wheat and honey. Flavor is sweeter than I expected and palate is soft and full, but needs more carbonation. Not a bad effort, but needs work. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Mar 3, 2009 22oz bottle bought at N By NW in June of 08. Mix of aromas yeast, peppery spice and some citrus lemon. Cloudy yellow body with white head. Most of the yeast had setteled to bottom of bottle so second glass had floaters stiring about. Good yeasty chewy lemon soapy zesty flavor. Medium bodied brew with some light spice in the background. Finishishs somewhat sour and dry with a yeasty malt sediment shot at the end. Good brew. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA Jan 31, 2009 Bottle. Body-medium gold with a thin ring of bubbles. Nose-plastic, white pepper, spicy, lotion, grassy. Taste-bourbon, lotion, light dirt, unsweet honey, well done, macroness, cottony, light white grape, some coriander, lots of lychee. JaBier (1130), Capital City, Ohio, USA Jan 24, 2009 Bottle courtesy of bgburdman. Cloudy orange copper color. Yeasty and malty nose with a little bit of hop. Flavor is pretty much the same, but had a touch of pepper and tartness. Decent overall. Rogueone (506), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA Jan 23, 2009 Thanks Brian: Pours a cloudy yellow-orange pour with wispy white head. Yeast is heavy in the nose, and a little spicy. Reminded me of a wheat beer. Not my thing but it was easy to drink. Tmoney99 (4652), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Nov 29, 2008 Bottle shared by alexsdad06.
Poured a hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate malty, ginger, yeast and alcohol aroma. Medium body. Medium balanced sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this to a friend.
