Nose suffered slightly from oxidation, sweet brown sugar, raisins, alcohol. Rough pour produced a small tan head to compliment a nice medium brown beer. Taste was slightly watery on the palate, but there was some delicate hops flavors left, some slightly sweet caramel notes, and a well accompanied bourbon flavor.

750ml bottle from a trade a while back. This beer hops up surprisingly well for its age. Pours a deep plum red color with a small beige ring. Light oxidation on the nose with some plum, brown sugar and light booze. Brew was fairly light in body which took a little away from the mouth feel, but over all , this brew was pretty kick ass.

750 ml corked and caged green bottle poured a clear brown with garnet highlights and a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of oak, plum, carmel, toffee, sherry, dates, pepper and vanilla. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, toffee, sherry, plum, light oak, light vanilla and light smoke with a smooth lingering fruity, woody finish. This beer has held up amazingly well for it’s age and only 7% ABV!

Bottle. Sampled at YEHA. What a treat to try this. Poured a clopudy brown body with thin head. Aroma - I was unsure of what was present but coffee was noticable. Taste is chocolate, bitter, rich malt. Body is thin and smooth.
