aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA Apr 15, 2007 Very effervescent apple and honey nose with a touch of vanilla and citrus. Mildly astringent mouthfeel with a huge level of carbonation. Acidic and lingering tart finish. Sickboy282 (1098), San Diego, California, USA Jul 20, 2006 Pours a golden clear hue wih a thick head. Aromas of apples, yeast and honey. Medium bodied with flavors of apples, yeast. A light belgian cider. Hairofthedog (419), San Diego, California, USA Apr 17, 2006 The aroma had light fermented fruit, apples, sllight malt notes, and citrus. The beer poured a light yellow color w/ slight head and very slight lacing. The flavor had apple juice and malt notes, with slight citrus. THe mouthfeel was light and creamy. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA Mar 1, 2006 I hope this is the right beer, because my bottle had a green label, unlike the one to the left. Anyway, pours cloudy gold with a huge white head. A lot of carbonation. Looks and smells like a tripel, but with apples and some wheat aromas. The taste is the same; sweet with candied sugar and yeast, with a cider bite and hefe-like undertones. Very light, but the apples get more prevalent as the beer warms, to the point of getting a little nauseating. Its worth trying, but I don’t think this will be making a return appearance in my fridge. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Feb 27, 2006 Maybe it’s because of all the big beers that I was sampling at the Vintage Ale Fest that caused this to seem relatively uninteresting, but it struck me as a light, spritzy golden Belgium ale with no remarkable qualities. Very light and sugary sweet with soft malts and a dash of apples, it had a light yet crisp finish. The strong abv was certainly well masked. Okay.
