| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Extreme underwhelming beer. Goes down smooth, but has little to no flavor. Is this a lite beer? Sure tastes like it... Gypsy19 (651), California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 19, 2008 A watery ale with a nice golden color and minimal carbonation/head. Not much going on here. Flavor is pleasant yet minimal. This is a disappointment coming from North Coast. Quite the anticlimactic experience. Very boring and little alcohol to boot. Drinkable, but that’s about it. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Not much to this beer at all. Poured from the bottle to a hazy straw color with thin white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left okay lacing. Nose was almost non-existent, except for some mild grain. Mouthfeel was medium bodied, and the taste was again mostly grain with mild hops.
Not a bad beer, but not much of a wheat, and nothing I would go to any trouble to have again. astrofrk (219), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 31, 2008 Bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a very nice white head. The beer had a very pleasant aroma with a slight bit of citrus and hops. The beer goes down light and thin with a very soft carbonation. Flavor has a slight bit of citrus. I really liked this wheat ale. It does not have too much of a citrus or spice taste. I would definately recommend this beer or drink it again myself. thefederalist (227), Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2008 Bottle. Hazy yellow. Medium lasting head. Aroma is simple, some noble hops. Flavor is pleasant, mildly sweet. Wheat is perhaps a smaller % of the grist than some wheet beers. Yeast character is mild but very pleasant. Mouthfeel is very satisfactory, though it is comparatively lowly carbonated. Recipe quabbles aside, this beer was taken great care of during fermentation. Probably the best American Wheat I’ve had.
