Commercial Description:
Malted wheat and the choicest American barley are combined with a blend of noble hops to create this light, fruity, refreshing beer. Brewed in the style of the American beer renaissance, Blue Star is unfiltered, the yeast adding a complex note to the flavor profile. It's especially good with a slice of lemon!

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Light citrus aroma, a bit wheaty as well. Medium body with too much carbonation. Flavor is again light, and dominated by lemony citrus. Not bad, pretty drinkable actually, but boring and bland overall.

12 oz bottle. pours out cloudy golden yellow with a smallish head. spotty lacing. Malty, wheaty aromas with some lemony scents in the background. Light lemony tartness, with a touch of wheat. Finish is a tad dry, otherwise a decent american wheat.

Hazy and golden in color with a light white average head. Aroma is slightly spiced and bread like. Taste of wheat comes through right away with some citrus following but overall is pretty simple.

12-ounce bottle. Amber pour with medium white head. Aroma of yeast, hops, malt. Flavor was similar but with a bread flavor. The look and feel is of a very standard Wheat Beer but the flavor is more yeasty and citrusy.

Poured light golden. Had a moderate wheat taste that seemed a little watered down. Also had a little bit of a sour after taste. Was a refreshing beer but probably wouldn’t buy again.

You know it was ok. I wasn;t aware it was unfiltered so that bothered me at first. From a bottle purs a hazy, cloudy orange body. Very thin head, little lace around the glass. Smels citrusy and wheaty. Taste is light and a little citrus. Its an ok beer, not outstanding but ok.

Pretty much average in everyway. Thin body, inoffensive taste, and a slightly sweet almost fruity taste. Very simple and unremarkable.

Decent made wheat. Because it is an ale style wheat, it was ok that it was thinner bodied, a little light, and a little fruity. It is balanced, but not too complex. Straightforward.
