Commercial Description:
Malted wheat and the choicest American barley are combined with a blend of noble hops to create this light, fruity, refreshing beer. Brewed in the style of the American beer renaissance, Blue Star is unfiltered, the yeast adding a complex note to the flavor profile. It's especially good with a slice of lemon!

Tastes a little buttery yeasty and lightly of citrus. Low carbonation. Excellent for an American Wheat.

I could drink this beer anytime. Clean, unfiltered taste, some hops and nice wheat taste. Enjoyable.

12 oz. bottle- color of pale hazy yellow , with a thick white head - nose of cereal , dried bananas , slight cloves , sweet lemon , and barnyard – taste of citrus , wheat , yeast, and that sweet lemon - body sparkely , and with sight acidity – aftertaste of sour acidic, and cereal

Bottle. Light, easy drinking. Just okay for me as far as wheat beers go. No distinguishing flavor that would make me choose this one over many better.

I had tried this wheat beer once before and really didnt like it. Although I’m still not a huge fan of wheat beers, this one fared higher when I tried it again recently. I think that the spicy, citrusy flavor and medium body make this a refreshing brew. Not bitter or hoppy, it’s a well done yet simple wheat beer

12oz. Bottle: Complex aroma. Scents of spice, banana, lemon, piney hops, and wheat. Poured a cloudy yellow with a small white head that diminished very quickly. No lacing. Cloudy. Sparkling. Floating particles of various sizes. Flavor is not really sweet or bitter. Tastes of wheat, banana, coriander, spice, lemon, and bread. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Short, dry finish. Overall, and average wheat.

Pours a hazy golden color with a white fluffy head. Smells of wheat and grain. Easy drinking brew but not overly exciting. I wasnt expecting it to be. Tastes of a typical wheat beer, but lacked a little in flavor. Very light citrus, wheat, and grain. I could drink it while watching a little football.

Bottled - Pours a VERY hazy yellow... cloudy as they come.. Nose is lots of grain, wheat and bread ... Taste is slight citrus with a little hop bitterness expected in an american wheat.. overall a decent brew
