| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2005 Bottle (12oz). Poured cloudy gold with a small diminishing white head. Aroma is light woody malt with slightly sour grain overtones and hints of banana. Taste is pretty bland grain with a hint of sour off-dry white wine. Mouthfeel watery and flat - pretty disappointing from the makers of North Coast Old Stock Ale. GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

This stuff is good because it’s got more bitter overtones than some hefe’s, and a more "basic" flavor. Nothing too complex or weird. Straightforward, but pretty solid. Not a fantastic beer, but good compared to a lot I’ve tried. TrevorFloyd (309), Connecticut, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2005 Light and fairly fruity, this was just never my favorite style. Nothing outrageous here, or particularly awful, but nothing to really hook you either. Tmoney99 (4751), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Bottle. Pours a clear amber hue with an average white head that diminished slowly. Good balanced sweet aroma. Medium body. Average also well balanced flavor with a good finish. Good find in Florida. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2005 12 oz. bottle. Cloudy gold with a nice, reasonably well sustained white head. Aromas of faint yeast and fruit. Tart, mildy acidic taste that feels a tad thin. Mild fruity esters and a finish of mild hop bitterness. Refreshing, not offensive, but not up to the level of the really good hefeweizens.
