Commercial Description:
Malted wheat and the choicest American barley are combined with a blend of noble hops to create this light, fruity, refreshing beer. Brewed in the style of the American beer renaissance, Blue Star is unfiltered, the yeast adding a complex note to the flavor profile. It's especially good with a slice of lemon!

Tap; THis beer had a good fruity aroma and flavor. Darker shade of gold for body color and average head. Decent refreshment with my blt.

12 oz bottle. pours out cloudy golden yellow with a smallish head. spotty lacing.
Malty, wheaty aromas with some lemony scents in the background.
Light lemony tartness, with a touch of wheat.
Finish is a tad dry, otherwise a decent american wheat. Goes down quick, not too bad considering its 1am and it’s still about 100 degrees outside.

Bottle. I was really surprised at just how hoppy this beer was - I think I’ve had IPAs similar to this one. Very grassy, leafy sweet hop flavor, juicy and tart lemons, smooth, full wheat flavor and texture. A surprisingly good beer, certainly unique, and one I’ll spend more time with from now on. Only complaint would be a lack of depth in the nose.

I thought I was drinking light pale ale. There is only a little wheat flavor, with less unimpressive light hops. Somewhat refreshing. Heavily carbonated. Somewhat sweet, and a little thick.

Pours hazy golden/orange in color. Nice yeasty banana aroma, with some caramel. Strange but in a good way. Flavor is very malty banana if that makes any sense. A little spice in the finish. Good for the after work, slam it ’cause your thirsty beer.

Gold. Bubbly, white head. Malt, wheat, light hops and some sweetness in the aroma. Smells tasty. Same flavor with the description being right on about the yeast adding a bit of complexity. Light/medium body, easy drinking. Excellent wheat beer. 3.05?

Hazy orange-yellow color. Thin soapy white head. Aroma is mild. Palate is smooth and easy drinking. Flavor is nice with only mild citrus.

Hazy golden/orange colour. White head with big bubbles. Has a spicy aroma with a light hoppy feeling in the background. The taste is malty with a light hoppy feeling. Crisp and a little dry mouthfeel. A pretty good wheat beer.
