I had split a couple of pitchers already... so I was in no real shape to rate this beer. I’ll come back to it though. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Very citrusy aroma with a fair amount of wheat and a touch of sweetness. This still tasted a bit watery to me, but very drinkable with a good wheat addition and a hint of lemon in the hop finish. Aroma of ginger and lemon.
Lightly swet start to finish. The lively carbonation is conbined with a watery light body. Give me a German Wheat beer any day. IPFreely (1470), Lewiston, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 4, 2005 Hazy yellow, white head. Fairly wheaty but not really all that aromatic or flavorful. A little citrusy as well. Light to medium bodied, fairly refreshing. Kinda boring. Meh. SDbruboy (1832), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 29, 2005 Bottle. Pours yellow-golden and slightly hazy with a large white head that quickly dissipates to a thin film of bubbles. Aroma is dry, wheaty, hoppy, slightly sour with a bit of yeast. Flavor is good, wheat, lemon, herbs and pepper in the finish. Body is light and highly carbonated - quite crisp and refreshing. A thirst quenching beer though not a great beer. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 6, 2005 Pours a hazy yellow color. Aroma is wheaty and a little sour. Flavor is wheat, lemon peel, and a little spice. A little bit of an off bitter like flavor. Not the best offering from North Coast. eve (240), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 6, 2005 Not much aroma but enjoyed the fizz, the cloudy yeasty character, mildly tasty dregs. More hoppy and lemon-oil-ish, not a strong wheat taste. A fair beer, wouldn’t spend a lot for it but a good thirst-quencher. iwantalambic (1389), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 4, 2005 12 oz bottle: slightly golden haze, white head that reduces into a thin edge. Musty, sour fruit aroma with some wheat bits as well as malt and a tad bit of plastic. Heavily carbonated palate with a bit of leather, wet grain, lemon flesh and wheat. Really nothing spectacular, but nicely drinkable no less.
