I suppose it lies somewhere in the middle. Thanks to pjk33 for sending this down south. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2004 12 oz bottle, served in an ice-cold glass mug at the Old Chicago in Rockford, IL. Medium amber, fairly clear and with little head until it warms and the yeast pour shakes it up a bit, adding swirls of dark cloudiness and a fair bit of off-white foam. Lemon dominates a faintly fruity nose with a bit of spicy hops when the temp is above frigid; sour apples and citrus in the medium body, thick grassy underlying flavors...very dry finish. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2004 Appearance: a hazy, toasted, golden hue, with a full, fluffy ivory cap atop.
Aroma: a delectable, outstanding blend of hops & fruit, with citrus & spice aplenty, orange and lemon, and more.
Taste: soft, smooth, mellow, easily consumed. Happily greets the tongue, and floods it with delcious citric flavor, washed it with tasty yeast and spice. Medium bodied, rather uncomplicated, but tasty, tasty, tasty. This did the trick as the beer for when you just need a beer right now, not one to settle back and savor. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 17, 2004 Bottle. From Sampler. Pours with a small head that diminishes quickly. Spare lacing and a actually pretty clear color of light gold. Nose of bread and grain (nice!) and average hop aroma that was a little floral. Medium body with a thin fresh texture and a light sweet malt taste to start. Moderately acidic with a heavy bitter finish along with a little sour vinegar taste that was not unpleasant believe it or not. Not a bad beer, but I would never guess that it was wheat malts. Must be a different yeast used in this one. Nice bitter bite to finish. TheBeerGod (3157), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 9, 2004 Bottled. Hazed golden body. Medium white head. Aroma is faint, to me. Light wheat and citrus and very light yeast. As I had this after several beers last night, maybe that had an effect on the aroma, but it seemed really weak. The flavor was a bit better. Wheat, more citrus, light yeast notes, thinned malts and mild hops. The body was light and a bit refreshing. Very good summer beer, indeed. Finishes with more wheat and yeast . Minimal hops and the citrus is still there. jasonp (1510), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA

Taste has a good amount of sweetness, no bitterness detected. Has notes of lemon and wheat. Medium mouthfeel. Overall, it’s ok but its missing a lot of flavor. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
