Nice, medium bodied, creamier than usual, wheat beer. Hazy, golden, decent head. Well balanced and fairly complex while staying very drinkable and refreshing. Not overtly wheaty/estery which is what I like about the American Wheat category. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA

There’s a good aromatic mix of fruity malts, honey and citrus toasty flavors. It rounds out with mild mellower maltiness and some sweet lemon flavors, while the citric bitterness also linger. Not the best, but interesting.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 1, 2004 Very pale yellow. No head. Body is malty, but very sweet and lacking taste. Hardly any bitterness. I am assuming that this is North Coast’s attempt to reach the macro consumers. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The aroma is slight lemon with a little touch of grass. The flavor is a little bubblegum and some pears. It also has a full finish of some grass. Definitely has more character than most american wheats. motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 18, 2004 Bottle. Hazy gold with a thin dense off white head. Nose is fruity and wheaty. The primary flavor notes are wheat, candy banana, a hint of orange peel, hops, peanuts (slight), and a tad bit of honey on the back end. Finish is crisp and has a touch of dryness. Overall this isn’t bad. It is a little on the watery side, but it still has some flavor.
