Commercial Description:
Malted wheat and the choicest American barley are combined with a blend of noble hops to create this light, fruity, refreshing beer. Brewed in the style of the American beer renaissance, Blue Star is unfiltered, the yeast adding a complex note to the flavor profile. It's especially good with a slice of lemon!

Hazy yellow orange with a lasting white foam. Aroma is thin wheat, lightly spicy, some lemon citrus zest. Taste is a dry spicy, smooth wheat body with a light finish of orange and lemon citrus acidity.

Bottle. Light aromas of light bread, cereal and grain for the malts, light lemon and dough for the hops and yeast, with a slight hint of white wine. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy light amber. Flavor starts moderately acidic and finishes moderately acidic and lightly bitter. Palate is light to medium, between watery and oily, has a fizzy carbonation and finishes lightly dry. Light on aromas, but what was there was pretty good.

On tap at the brewery, I got this as part of a sampler set. This hazy yellow pour is a very light bodied wheat. A good lawnmower beer, refreshing, but not a whole lot of flavor.

Hazy and golden in color with a light white average head. Aroma is slightly spiced and bread like. Taste of wheat comes through right away with some citrus following but overall is pretty simple.

Crushed with Jakebra. Almost decent wheat. Would be nice on a hot summer day I guess. Had high expectations cuz of North Coast being awesome. Bummer.
