rustychiles (582), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 11, 2008 Pours a reddish brown with a small off white head. Aroma of fruits, malt and caramel. Flavor is fruits, yeast, spices, candy. Loads of carbonation, and pretty decent mouthfeel on this one, but something seems just a touch out of balance. Still very decent.

Raisins, dried fruits, sherry, big caramel, and alcohol. Sweet and gets a bit too cloying through the class, probably better ages in the big bottle. Still quite impressive. TipsyMcStager (840), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jan 5, 2009 aroma is malty, burnt fruit, prune. Pours a ruby brown, clear, with off-tan head. Sweet, with raisin, prune and licorice. Alcoholy finish. Eyedrinkale (3163), Beer Town, New York, USA Jan 3, 2009 750 bottle poured into chalice. Not much in the head retention department but the flavor makes up for it. Malty with raisen and grape with a nice barrel flavor to it. Smooth but it’s got a little plastic flavor which ain’t too good.
