Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Smells of belgian yeast and fruits. Tastes of grapes and spice. Has a dry feel to it. Realy good for beeing an american interpetation of the style.

Bottle. Hazy yellow. Smell of fruit and butter. Sweet taste of spices, bitter orange and small amounts of honey. Well balanced with small sourness and also some dryness in finish. A little too much carbonation,

What an intriguing beer. And afterwards I dreamed of saison. Opens with quite a "pop", and pours off white (think witbier) with a huge head. A medley of floral and light citrus and earthy aromas with a very pleasing flavor and light, dainty mouthfeel. As it warmed, I thought of white wine. Rather dry, I’ve had other saisons that were sweeter, this is quite dry, and I do so the comparisons to Belgian triples. An excellent beer. Wish I had more. Thanks to Michael Lelevier for bringing this to Panama from New Mexico.

750ml corked bottle served in a Duvel tulip. Opens with quite a pop. Plenty of carbonation. Pours a hazy gold with a big white head. Spice and citrus in the aroma. Some noble hop aroma comes out as it warms. On the lighter side of medium bodied with a spritzy mouthfeel from all that carbonation. More spice and a little tart lemon in the flavor Very dry. There is a little funk in the finish (in a good way). Maybe a little past its prime, the flavors could have been a bit brighter.

In the 750 mL corked bottle from Beertopia. Pours bright yellow with a huge bountiful white frothy head. Chunky yeast in the bottom of the bottle and glass. Medicinal aroma with lemon scents. Chalky flavor is sweet early and thick in its mouthfeel. Finishes with a mild lemon tartness and a solid bitter goodbye. As it warms, it becomes more like a belgian triple and less like a saison. Big oranges at the warm end.

This beer poured a cloudy yellow golden color with generous white head that dissipated to a thin film along the top. The aroma was of citrus, spice, and yeast. The flavor was of the same with more citrus coming through. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied. The drinkability was pretty high and would be nice on a hot day.

Pours hazy gold, big white head on top. Aroma is great! Floral notes mesh with medium fruit notes, yeast, pepper, and citrus. Flavor reflects aroma, but with the addition of caramel and an almost clove-like flavor in the middle. More hoppy than usual for the style, and less barnyard aroma/flavor than I prefer for the style. Very nice, still.
