Flavor is moderately sweet, fruity, mostly lemon. Not as well-balanced or smooth as some others of the saison style, but certainly very pleasant and drinkable. TimE (1361), Tokyo, Japan

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 8, 2008 A cloudy orangish golden beer with an appreciable head and a fruity nose. Head settles to a film quickly enough. Flavor has that characteristic belgian yeast tone and a bind of banana. Mouthfeel is very fizzy, borderline too much. Finish is flavorful and yeasty, light, a little refreshing and good. djd07 (753), Houston, Texas, USA

Poured from 750ml bottle, beautiful straw colored golden, hazy with a lovely white foamy head. Aroma of yeast, lemons and spices. Flavour was much of the same, tart, tangy with nice hop and citrus tones. Simply lovely beer! Sammy (4056), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 2, 2008 people say this is now Le Merle. What I am drinking is a very good farmhouse ale that is aged about three years. There is a little bit of lace and a sweet spicey rather than a not good smelling yeasty ale. The mouthfeel is a little spicey sharp above average and the taste is spicey and oh so drinkable. The carbonation is apparent only later in under-the-surface gas.
