i think this is very nice--a dry and bit tart overall with a great balance among its ingredients; this reminds me of orval; i think it is more like a typical belgian ale (i.e., it is like orval) not a saison--it could use more juicy fruits and more potent herbs, but as a beer it is still great.

Sampled at Jans Saison tasting! Thanks! Appearance: Clear yellow, small grey head, little carbonation. Aroma: Slight sour aroma, fruit there too. Flavour: Peppery, spicey, malty all at once! Super refreshing

Hazy golden amber with nice frothy white head. Layered fruity and yeasty notes comprise the elegant and sugary/syrupy nature of the aroma. The thick bodied and dusty flavors comprise a tasty and decent offering of the style. Not bad.

Slightly cloudy well carbonated with lofty fine white head. Citrusy sourness with wheaty and belgian yeast aroma. Spicey peppery yeast phenolics especially clove in flavor with nice citrusy overtones.

Shared with Maniac and MaltDawg. Re-tasted with barrios courtesy of sixfootsix. Pours a murky dirty gold with large white head. Nose of clove, lemon, pepper, and a sour note, and a white wine. Tastes not as *farmhouse* as i normally expect in a saison. Flavor of white grapes and other citrus. Alcohol is evident but not overpowering.

Bottled. Pale orange colour with big creamy head. Big spicy aroma, with citric pale maltiness and good fruity esters from tropical fruits. Spices add complexity here as always with Saison, that goes well with the pale malts. It feels a bit sweeter than the average Saison, but that’s just a side note. Very good beer here.

Bottle shared by csbosox. Pours a cloudy amber with a fluffy white head that collapses to a thin cap. Belgian yeasty esters, citrus and dusty malt comprise the nose. Light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation and a lightly dry finish. Dry, citric and yeasty with a moderately spicy, peppery-dry finish. A tasty saison. Thanks for sharing this one, Chris.

Draught: Light cloudy copper color small head. Heavy carbonation, with a Belgian taste with zest! Has a nice tropical fuity flavor. I need to drink this again.
