Aug 14, 2006 500ml - thanks Secret Santa July 06 - Aroma of cookie dough, lemon, wet grass and a touch of spice. Pours cloudy orange with a nice white head and great lacing. Flavor is still yeasty with sharp lemon, but now it is more wet sock than wet grass. A bit snappier than I prefer. Palate is tart and tangy. Overall different and not bad.

Aug 8, 2006 Last HWOH. Pours a medium hazy yellow with a nice fluffy white head which fades a bit but leaves some nice lacing. Phenolic aroma, some clove and spice, hints of pepper, light garden herbs, and hints of lemon and yeast. Flavor is yeasty, wheat malts, lemony, pepper and other spices, and more herbal hops in the end. Ok belgian ale overall.

Aug 8, 2006 Bottle: Gold color, lots of carbonation and a strong pop from the top. A large growing white head with plenty of lacing. Nose of citrusy and acidic yeast and nice hops that blend with the sharp carbonation level. No malts really, the flavor is lightly bitter. Decent belgian style beer, but doesn’t quite strike me as a saison, more like a dry triple or something.

Aug 8, 2006 Sampled from bottle. Strong wit character in smell and taste. Appears pale and cloudy in the sample glass. Mouthfeel is fizzy. A bit of spice and mint are the impressions I get midway through. Finishes dry and rather astringent.

Jul 26, 2006 Lightly hazed blonde with an extra thick creamy white head and lacing. Pleasant lemony aroma, with coriander and light bananas and fruity esters. In mouth, a rich sweet malt with coriander, lemon, yeast, and crisp hops. Lingering spices in mouth. Quite nice. Bought at Whole Foods, California, Sept. 2005.

Jul 26, 2006 (750ml bottle) Courtesy of Luc. Large, creamy white head with a cloudy, very carbonated light gold body. Highly yeasty and citrus nose. Flavours of biting hops with a smooth lemony mid-palate (like gelato). Similar to La Fin du Monde yet more like a weaker younger brother.

Jul 25, 2006 Bottle from MI. location. Poured hazy amberwith a huge frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate malty yeasty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet flavor with a medium balanced sweet bitter finish of moderate duration.
