750 from BevMo. It pours a typical Saison golden color with a dense, vigorous cream-colored head. Smells of citrus and coriander with notes of pepper and subtle vanilla. Starts off with citrus and pepper notes and has a bit of a dry, hoppy finish. Further on down the glass the citrus flavors come out more and it has a malty sweetness to it that is quite pleasant. Good stuff.

Bottle... Poured a hazy, vibrant, yellowish-orange with a thick white head. Yeasty aroma of herbs and spices. Really dry with nice esters and a yeasty tanginess. Finished grainy.

Bottle. A bit of a gusher, poured a hazy gold-amber with a huge foamy white head. Very sharp aroma, of pine, grass, spices, citrus. Taste is also sharp, of grass, yeast, spices, lemon, and a bit of malt. Lingering sharpness that ends a bit watery. Decent.

Saisons aren’t my thing. Poured yellow with a white head. Aroma of spice and lemon. Citrus and spice flavor all over this. Sipper for me.

Cork almost took off my face when I opened it. Cloudy orange pour with with white, light head. Dusty, citrusy aroma. Tangerine, orange, pineapple. Flavor is dusty and funky, lightly sour. The funkiness is earthy, more than anything. Nice, bottle-conditioned, belgian mouthfeel. Overall, solid, tasty brew.

Bottle. Moderate notes of hay, lemon, horse blanket and musty up front, with apple and pineapple in the background. Head is small, fizzy and wispy, white, with fair lacing and good legs, and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky, yellow/amber. Flavor starts heavily acidic, lightly bitter and a bit sour, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, watery yet slick, has a fizzy carbonation and finishes moderately astringent and quite dry. A well balanced aroma and flavor fitting to the style makes this Saison deserving of it’s overall rating.
