What an intriguing beer. And afterwards I dreamed of saison. Opens with quite a "pop", and pours off white (think witbier) with a huge head. A medley of floral and light citrus and earthy aromas with a very pleasing flavor and light, dainty mouthfeel. As it warmed, I thought of white wine. Rather dry, I’ve had other saisons that were sweeter, this is quite dry, and I do so the comparisons to Belgian triples. An excellent beer. Wish I had more. Thanks to Michael Lelevier for bringing this to Panama from New Mexico.

A peach colored beer with almost no head. The aroma was fruity. The taste is fruity & spritzy with some slight funk & was like Sprite with some fruit flavor added. Boring.

750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with fluffy, long lasting offwhitehead. The aroma is spicy yeast and fruity hops with a little bit of woodiness and alcohol. The flavor is lemon, yeast, coriander, apricot, starfruit, and plentiful hops. The finish is dry and refreshing with a mild fruitiness. Definitely on the hoppy side of the style, but can’t say I have any complaints about that.

Had this one for quite awhile now. Had a farmhouse musty rustic aroma along with some yeasty bread notes. Gold body with big white head. Left a sugar coating of lacing on the glass. Decent mango fruity flavor with some mellow spice notes. Easy on the palate.

This pours a clear, golden, peach color, with light, amber hues. Two-fingers of foamy, eggshell colored head sits on top. Retention is fairly good. Lacing is good, but pretty slick, so it keeps sliding back down. Big notes of tropical fruits are noticed first. A good level of belgian yeast is here. It has a sort of ’fruit bread’ kind of scent. There is also a nice earthiness, presumably from the hops. This is quite a balanced taste. The yeast and the fruits are well-matched. The earthy notes of the hops provide a nice amount of dryness, which counters the sweetness, almost perfectly. There is no bitterness to speak of, which lends to the enjoyment of this beer. This has a medium body and a high level of carbonation. There is a bit of roughness around the edges, with a touch of creaminess in the middle. It makes for an interesting mouthfeel. This is very well-balanced and easy drinking. Along with the 7.9%abv, which is only lightly noticed, this is quite drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a bright hazy yellow with a thick white head. The aroma was grass, yeast, wheat, and coriander. The flavor was yeast, spice, wheat, orange, funk, and lemons. Overall, a high quality Saison from North Coast.

Nice honey orange with an off white foam. Aroma is spicy, orange, fruity, some honey. Taste is much more powerful, big dry spiciness, some oranges, yeasty must.

Typical saison aroma and taste, but with a smooth malt background. Extreme head took forever to die. Beautifully cloudy golden color.
