Deep dark brown almost black pour with creamy tan head and lace. Huge aroma of milk chocolate. Flavor not as much choco as the nose but pretty solid. Hint of coffee as well very dry finish. Pretty damn solid stout.

Bottle. Aged about 1 year. Pours a glossy jet black with about a half inch light tan head. Nose of roasted barley. Good dark malt flavors. Cheap coffee and roasted barley too. Dry, syrupy, over fizzy mouth. Decent dry stout.

12 oz bottle from msiano purchased at his only shopping destination the Wine King or as I call them the slightly below average King. Not going into detail about a beer that totally underwhelmed me. This would be acceptable for a Saranac or Yuengling dry stout but a North Coast, sorry no. This one needs some serious revamping and I cant figure out why its rated over 3 none the less slightly over 3.5?? WTF??

pours black with ruby highlights, a big tan head leaves a lot of lacing. looks great in the glass. sweetish flavor, noticeable hops in the flavor, sort of like dried apricots. very flavorful, coffee and toasty flavor. loved it!

Pours a nice dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is of roasted coffee beans. Black coffee and dark chocolate flavor with a hint of smoke near the end. My only problem with this beer is that it’s a little thin. Still enjoyable and worth a shot.
