Black with a thick tan head. Aroma is rather restrained roasted malt and sesame seeds. Flavor is very dry, ristretto espresso. As it warms, there is a flavor that reminds me of cottage cheese. It’s not as bad as it sounds, believe me. It is smooth, I guess. There is nothing really remarkable about this one, it’s just a decent stout.

Bottle from Booze Bros. in Reno, NV. Poured a very dark brown, almost black. Smell of coffe and chocolate. A little on the dryer side for a stout, which really brought out the roasted malt flavor. Great brew!!

12oz - Aroma of dusty dark malts, cream and chocolate. Pours black with a big brown head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is dry. A tasty easy drinking session stout.

Very solid stout. A coffeeish roastiness to it. A little light on the finish, but good effort.

Poured a big head which diminished in size but remained for a long while. Jet black and beautiful to the eye. Roasted chocolately smell. Not an overwhelming taste but all the usual suspects in a stout are there: chocolate and malts. The best of the 3 stouts I’m tasting this session, but nothing I will rush out to buy again. I’d take it if you gave to me in a heartbeat though.

Black-brown, oily pour, firm brown head with generous lacing. Rich coffee, cocoa, and roast. Creamy mouthfeel, richly malty, long finish that is moderately bitter and dry. Superb!

Decent effort. Pours a very deep, dark brown with tan head that fades fast. Aroma is chocolate roast with hints of coffee. Taste is chocolate and butter, very smooth finish. Would drink again.

Blackish pour with a med-lg tannish head. Aroma is roasty with some dark chocolate. Flavor is chocolatey with some roasted coffee. A tad buttery. Not a bad dry stout, but this one always seems bland to me.
