Served cold from a bottle. The aroma is a delicious blend of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. It pours a deep, oily black with a nice-sized tan head. It is remarkably smooth and easy to drink, the flavors are mostly roasted malts and coffee. it has a great mouth feel and leaves no discernible aftertaste. a fantastic stout.

On tap at Plan B, W Hartford CT. Standard stuff, some coffee, mild chocolate, mild roastiness. Fairly thin mouthfeel. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about.

Let me first start by saying there is no aroma for some reason. But it pours a deep black with a huge tan head that lasts quite awhile before I take my first drink. Huge biscuit and toffee flavors with a nice smoothness. Very drinkable and right on with the alc content with this one. It all comes together nicely with a lingering finish. Nice beer.

Quickly descending beige head, really dark brown body, not quite black. Roasted malt aroma, with coffee and chocolate. Main taste aside from the roasted malts was of bitter dark chocolate. This is a little on the sweet side. Hints of coffee are in this beer. Not as thick as I would have liked it, probably would be better off the tap than out of the bottle.

Pours deep dark brown, slight reddish tint. Medium tan head. Aroma of coffee bean and cocoa powder with some milk chocolate notes. Flavors enter gorgeous but then leave fast and cleanly like a good lover the morning after. A little thin but good.
