Shared with smith4498 at Zeke’s Roadhouse in Miami Beach. Pours a near black with fair brown head. Sweet milk chocolate with a good bit of roast. Like a milk stout actually. I actually thought this was a sweet stout, rather than a dry stout. About average.

On tap at The Trappist. This black ale poured with a modest tan head and a smoked malt aroma. There is a substantial roasted malt flavor that leaves a pleasant coating on your tongue.

Black body with a thick brown head. Roastd malt aroma with trace amount of coffee aroma. Taste of roasted malt, little sweetness, dryness, and a litlle bitter finish. Nice lacing on the glass.

12 oz bottle served at charlestons (new lenox, Il). Pours a very darl brown pour mixed with black notes, moderate tannish head that sticks around and laces a bit. Aromas are fairly blank, subtle roasted malts mixed with light molasses sweetness, light chocolate, and and underwhelming feel. Initial is lighter in body, light roasted malts, chocolate subtle coffee bitterness, and light barley and soda bread. A little light bodied, but sessionable. Not really a palate sticker, leaves a malty sweetness coupled with coffee bitterness on the aftertaste. Ok.
