[my 200th American rating]
Pours deep mahogany black with an impressive, staying, creamy beige head. Wonderful aroma, good bourbon notes, wood, roasted malts and caramel. Super creamy mouthfeel. Powerful flavour as well, lots of bourbon again, vinious, a bit on the sweet side, with a coffee like finish. Only drawback is perhaps the bourbon being so powerful. But still a wonderful impy stout.

Smooth bourbon and vanilla flavors. As Brenton stated earlier is the only "flaw" is the body. Not as thick as others but still beautifully done. Thanks to Mreusch for suppling this a long time ago. Got tons of bourbon flavors mixed with slashing vanilla and mocha characters as well. Strong alcoholic beer, the main flaw is the body. Way too thin for me, needs some darkness for a few years to thicken up. Age will work wonders for this beer. Get some of this one, great beer to try. Big thanks to AgentSteve for this one! Dark brown with tan pancake head. Very nice bourbon aroma with cherry, fruity malt. Sweet roasted malt, nice vanilla, very nicely balanced. Medium to full and creamy. Taste remains pretty true to the regular Rasputin, the barrel-aging semms to merely provide some extra seasoning. Slight smoke, with dark fruits and chocolatey bourbon. Vanilla shows itself once the beer has breathed a while. Mouthfeel is thick and chewy, noticeable tannins. Good stuff.
