Aromas of coffee, chocolate and roastiness. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, roastiness and burnt roastiness. Thick in the mouthfeel. Overall, I enjoyed this better than the last time I had it, didn’t seem as burnt to me.

Got a bottle from my father. Drank it to accompany some pasta; should have eaten it as a meal on it’s own. The most absoute dark and black color I’ve ever seen; head like delicious matress foam. Taste somewhere between a cup of coffee, a bar of chocolate, and a werther’s original. I feel like I should like it more than I do; it’s like someone is punching me in the head with a stout. I vaguely resent the ridiculously over powerful flavors.

Pours a dark brown, almost black with a nice tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate with hints of hops. The flavor is about the same. The coffee comes out when it first hits the pallet and the choclate stands out in the finish.

Pour is deep black with a healthy tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, sweetness, slight warmth of alcohol, dry finish. Leaves alasting taste in my mouth after each sip. The head stays for the whole drink and leaves a nice lacing.I have seen this beer for awhile locally. I wish I tried it sooner, but glad it’s still here.

Pours a deep brown, almost black, with a darker than expected head, very dense and thick. Aroma of vanilla, coffee. Taste is amazing. Chocolate, coffee, maybe a bit of hops even. Great stuff.
