(bottle): Pours an inky black body, gray brown head, good lacing but not very lasting. Alcohol and dark malts, nuttiness. Malts and dustIness. Somewat hot. Some dark chocolate. Too much for me.

one of my favorite Imperial stouts. Near perfect blend of flavors with dominant hints of coffee and chocolate.

Bottle. Pours black with a small light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, cookie dough, caramel, nougat, and truffles. Wow. Flavor of roast, coffee, and bitter hops. Sweet roasted malt emerges as the beer warms. A bit heavy (alcohol-wise). Good impy!

Bottle. Aroma of alcoholic dark fruits, sweet espresso, tootsie rolls, chocolate chip cookies, and a touch more alcohol too. Flavor of bitter coffee, complex earthy/nutty notes, more alcohol, much more equal parts bitter and sweet than the nose. Pleasantly bitter finish. Full bodied yet silky smooth, for an imperial stout at least. Great stuff.

Oh my goodness!!!, this puppy is awesome. Beautiful nose and flavors of coffee, chocolate, malt, hops, even floral notes. Super complex with a finish that goes on forever.

12oz. bottle. Pours a deep black with a tin tan lasting head that left little lacing. Aroma of malt, alcohol, a wine like scent, and a funny musty odor that passed after the first couple of sips. Tastes of dark chocolate, coffee, some caramel, earth tones, and a little alcohol. Big body, thin syrup texture, soft carb, and warm dry feel. A very good brew and as the desciption states complex, but lacks that "WOW!" factor. I will certainly try this beer again
