12 ounce bottle- pours an incredible black/brown with a thick and long lasting cola head. Aroma was bitter chocolate and coffee. The palate was as thick and smooth as milk. Bitter coffee and raisin-like sweetness predominated in the taste of the brew. Had a very strong alcohol flavor as well. Good stout with a really wicked bite.

12oz bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours black as night with a good size chocolaty head. Tons of chocolate, coffee, and toasted malts on the nose. A spectacular finish that was creamy and full of the Imp Stout goodness.

Thick, creamy looking tan head. Black as motor oil. Aroma of maple, chocolate, coffee and resiny hops. Initial sweet flavor with some acidic bite. Lively carbonation. Earthy smoky flavor with licorice. Full body and lingering finish. 9% alcohol well hidden.

Served on draught in a 12-oz snifter. Poured pitch black in color, with a thick coffee-colored head. Tasted roasted bitterness with a coffee and bitter chocolate-like aftertaste. An amazing beer!

Black as midnight with a nice foamy goldenrod colored head. Smell is of malts, coffee, roastiness, and chocolate. Taste of dark fruits, coffee, and roastiness. Pretty easy to drink. Hearty good beer.
