Chewy caramel aromas with cherry and a touch of pineapple, some late coffee and lactic notes (which altogether gave the impression of ice cream :) Big malts in flavor with a bitter coffee start and moderate bittersweetness to finish. Thick and slick. Truly decadent, especially with an Acid-brand Red Cameroon cigar.

The head was minimal, tan, and short lived. The aroma was very complex. Nutty, chocolatey, lighy coffee, and faint citrus from hops. Had a deep complex flaver that was very hard to pick apart. Roasted chocolate and coffee along with a bitter nutty flavor, and a waxy bitter grapefruit hop on the back of your tongue. The palate was much affected by the hop in the back of my mouth. The finish was slightly hoppy with notes of alcohol and a roasted flavor. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
