Poured thick and dark with a beautiful brown head. Very complex flavor with strong coffee, hints of chocolate, caramel, and raisin?, very robust, a true man’s beer, and delicious to boot!

One of my favorite stouts. Pours near black with a small, medium brown head. Aroma is mostly chocolate with a hint of coffee and alcohol. Flavor is mostly chocolate with a slight coffee aftertaste. Despite the 9% ABV, it’s hard to taste the alcohol here. Feels thick and creamy in the mouth, in a good way.

Bottle. Medium sized brown head and a pitch black color. Nutty aroma of coffee and dark chocolate.Malty flavor with chocolate and raisin as well as coffee. An outstanding imperial stout which hides the ABV well.

Aroma-Awesome with the chocolate dominating but not in an intrusive manner. Appearance-Perfect!! Everything a true Russian Imperial Stout should strive to be. Pitch black, great brown head that lingers and laces nicely on the glass. Flavor-Very complex. Gets more complex over time but in a word: Fucking Awesome!! Great flavor. Palate-Very complex and balanced. Great. Overall impression-Great fucking beer. Love this beer. Most Russian Imperial Stouts fatigue the tastebuds but I could drink this all night long. Highly recommended.

On tap at Patton Alley Pub. Great Beer. Poured jet black with creamy brown head. Nose of coffee, cocoa and hops. Tasted of burnt cocoa and roasted coffee. Hops really come though nicely at the end. Great Beer. Mouthfeel was amazing! My new favorite.

Wow, this is an amazing beer. It was dark, I mean black, and had tan head. It had a strong chocolate taste more then anything else and was just simply amazing.

Great all around beer. Very easy to drink for and imperial stout. Love the chocolate taste at the end.

A very solid Imperial Stout. Available and amazing. Nice aroma, moderate head, pleasing black color, and small bottles (a plus, sometimes)
