Great balance of malt, coffee, and chocolate flavors. Not as "Heavy," as some stouts. I don’t know how beer could be any better than this! WOW!!!

Pours a rich black/brown super fullbodied nectar. An extremely rich and complex specimen of it’s genre. The best in it’s class. This brew has so much going on but without any focus on any one element. It’s a tasty stout with huge bright/fresh flavors from the dark spectrum (coffee, cocoa, tar, and the like) which is quite rare. These flavors are usually so dense and rich that they overshadow the other elements. Not here. It’s sweet yet ballanced by the hopy character. Well ballanced with a long finish. Stays flavorful to the last sip.The alcohol is well hidden and keeps you warm. The next best thing to have during a Detroit whiteout on 75 Northbound to Clarkston, the first being your girl of course. I highly recommend trying it.

This has become my number one beer. It’s so big that it’s hard to go back to anything else.

I must admit never heard of this brand went to The Grateful Inn in Maplewood, MO had several micro’s on the Menu tried this-- Bottle, pours black, Aroma is Chocolate-- Most full bodied beer I have had in a long time - packs a punch- this is truly one of the finest-

Full of coffee and chocolate. Very creamy amber head with black body. This is a good stout that I will definitely return to.

There is a reason it has 7 gold medals. Simply the best in its field! Also North Coast is on of my top 5 brew houses, if you havent allready checked them out online, please do so.

There are few beers that deserve a perfect score, but this is one of them. Big Malty and fruity aroma. Full of flavor. Viscous with a creamy mouthfeel, For the style, perfectly balanced in every way.
