Pours a dark, coffee color with a beautiful chocolate head. Malty and smooth.. aftertaste is perfectly balanced. Great presentation.

Are you kidding me? Nose full of smokey, chocolatey oak with hints of caramel and floral fruits. Pours a dark brown/black color with an espresso head. Notes of chocolate, licorice, smoke, oak, and toffee mix on a silky and delicious palatte. Thank God I bought the four pack...

Poured rich black with a dark head. Smelled like chocolate. Had a rich coffee flavor slightly sweet and bitter. Full bodied and excellent.

Jeesh, almost as perfect a score as I can give it.... what can you add to the previous... pitch black, sticky head, flavors of licorice, chocolate, coffee, vinous dark grapes... all in balance... palate is creamy, heavenly... a great experience.

Magnificent, Pours black with a nice tan head that remains around thanks to tiny bubbles. The sweetness is perfectly balanced the right amount of hops. Not for the faint of heart. An exceptional beer that may be the best in this style in the entire World. Well worth the Price.

Pours black with a small dark tan head. Taste is heavy on roasted malts and coffee, coffee, coffee. There’s also a slight alcohol warmth - just enough to remind you this is an Imperial. Smooth palate. Very enjoyable. This is a great beer.

Bottle. Coffee, molassis aroma, appearance is a very dark light-less brown with a brown head. toasted maltiness and a little bitternes. If you can find it get it, its worth it. They even have it on tap in random places around california if your lucky enough to stumble across one.

Bottle. Large head with a nice black color. Aroma includes roasted grain, molasses, wine, vanilla, brown sugar, and even a bit of date. Full body with a slick texture and lively palate. Long taste. Probably the best stout I have tasted.
